Project Life 365 ~Days 7-18~

7) #simplicity – One of my words for the year: Dream. Simply ‘dream’.
8) #front_door – This is my front door.
9) #in_a_drawer – I couldn’t find my potato smasher for months.  Apparently it was right there in the drawer.

10) #game – My guy playing games on the X-Box.
11) #signature – My blog signature.
12) #mini – My min-pin (miniature pinscher) Barney.

13) #forgotten – I keep forgetting to charge my camera battery.
14) #temptation – Who isn’t tempted by some fresh donuts?
15) #confusing – My homework is confusing.

16) #sign_of_winter – The trees in the fountains are a sign of winter in PDX.
17) #this_is_so_me – I LOVE red shoes!  These are so me.
18) #news – The news stand at Starbucks.

Project Life 365 ~ Days 1-6~

I have joined Project Life 365.
It is photo a day challenge that provides daily prompts to help expand your imagination.

Here’s my first 6 days:

1) #resolution – One of my resolutions is to wear everything I own at least once,
including accessories.
2) #you_today – It was a lazy kind of day for me.
3) #optimistic – I am feeling optimistic that I can get healthier this year.
4) #graceful – I quickly trekked through downtown Portland and didn’t trip over my feet once.
That is very graceful for me.
5) #view – I miss the view from my old place.
6) #still_life – My box of tissue and I are inseparable this week due to a cold.

Harriet the Holiday Hippo ~Days 22-30~

This is the last bunch of my adventures with Harriet.

Harriet got to go to the dentist with me. (Her teeth are just fine.)
She watched movies with me.

She tried to hide in a Christmas tree and inside a vase.

We were feeling artsy and she ended up on the purple shelf and in the craft cupboard.

We snacked on candy canes and tried to resist the beautiful Christmas ornaments in the bowl.  (They looked like big jaw breakers.)

And finally, she guarded the cookies for Santa.

It was a fun little project.
Who knows what my picture project will be next holiday season?
For now, I’m glad the holiday season is over and am looking forward to the new year.
