The girls and I went to the Oregon Zoo a couple weeks ago.
We had a blast and turned it into a mini photo shoot a couple times.
My girls love the camera luckily for me.
**Warning: This is a long post with a LOT of pics.**
It was a beautiful Oregon day. The clouds were gorgeous.
Our zoo has a bunch of quirky little features like this cute little squirrel.
And these duck prints in the cement.
This little guy is cute too. Just kicking back and snacking away.
A sign explaining some of the random items found in the wall.
A fish aquarium within the sea otter aquarium.
I think that is so cool.
The “underwater” exploration station.
This guy was so cute. He kept swimming in lazy circles.
They have already started setting up the holiday Zoo Lights.
I so want to go this year.
My sweet Miss Margaret.
With as much as they argue sometimes, it is so nice to be able to capture the sweetness so I can focus on that when they’re driving me nuts.
I love the bats. I think they are so cute if you ignore their big creepy wings.
Miss Rose especially loves to pose for the camera.
I don’t know what these are but I love that they look like they’re kissing.
This was Miss Rose’s favorite. It’s a lung fish. Super ugly and prehistorically old. She spent about 15 minutes just watching it.
Even though you can’t see his head, doesn’t he just look massive?
We didn’t get to pet the goats, but we got to hear them talk to us plenty.
I love this big beautiful tree.
This is a bubble inside a cage so you can go inside and see what the animals see.
This is what it looks like from inside the bubble.
Miss Margaret on the elephant trike.
This cracks me up!!!
Life-size elephant huh?
I loved this guy and his smile.
This guy was really thirsty apparently.
This guy was really bored.
I love how cats are cats whether domesticated or wild.
My sweet girls looking over the beautiful green park.
My sweet girls.
So much fun.
